3139. This is a British grenadier's match case, "grenadiers were soldiers assigned with the task of throwing grenades. The grenade of the time was a hollow iron ball, filled with gun powder and sealed with a wooden plug which contained the fuse. To ignite the grenade the grenadier carried a burning piece of cord called a slow match. When not in use, the slow match was placed into a small brass case with holes that was attached to the grenadier's shoulder belt."

3133. The most common suggestion for this device is that it's a leather skiving tool, for thinning pieces of leather, though it could be a basket maker's shave.

3138. This is a corn husker, according to patent number 27,638, "...it both strips off the husks and severs the ear from the stalk."

It doesn't look exactly like the patent drawing because like many other tools, its design was modified several times over the years after it was patented.

3127. This is a saw set that was used with a hammer, patented by Herrick Aiken on May 24,1830, before patent numbers started. A saw set is used to alternately bend the side of a saw blade's tooth left and right so that it makes a wider cut and moves more easily through wood. A saw blade which has had the teeth bent is said to have been set.
